Up early, home late. Yesterday was a long day in which I got to meet lots of lovely new people keen to come and work for us and equally a few more that would like us to work for them. I think it’s fair to say business is good right now.
It was a special day for Sharmin in our team as she celebrated her birthday! I do love birthdays 😊 More than Christmas and New Year’s – there’s just something awesome about having a day that celebrates you. If you’re reading this Shar, I hope it was a good one!
By the time I made my way home last night it was freeeeeezing. Had to be sub-zero temperatures and when the display told me my next tube to go the last stop was 15mins away I didn’t waste any time getting out and walking the last leg. As a reward, I treated myself to a cheeky dinner of Fish and Chips – god I’m so british sometimes! Or maybe it’s just that growing up by the sea makes me crave such things when I’m tired. Who knows!
Thanks to the lovely Sinead too who got in touch to ask me where my shoes where in my ‘Top deck commute’ Instagram pic yesterday morning. The truth is sometimes my skirt doesn’t allow me to lift my legs in a ladylike enough manner to shoot my shoes up high in the window 😉 More soon though I promise.
Toddles for now, Steph
