From the back streets of Bethnal Green buying arty materials to the height of Pall Mall celebrating the marriage of a new friend. Saturday 23rd May was one of the most fun and diverse days!
With an art project imminent you need all of the things so Aaron and I filled his smart car with cans, pots and kettles to get the job done.
Then a quick dash home via Oxford Street by passing some cheeky body painting in the windows of Debenhams and it was time to get ready for Samira’s wedding.
A few technical problems involving nail poilish aside, things went quite well and I quickly got myself into a presentable state ready to head to RAC club.
It was a lovely event. Samira looked stunning and her new husband Ian looked very handsome too. In fact, everyone that attended looked fabulous as it was a black tie wedding!
I found my place on the dance floor quickly. Started a limbo event, danced with some of the older family members, joined in the traditional Iranian dances, put a guest in a spin, did a solo routine and was one of the last off the dance floor.
With lots of new friends made, I can say I had a great time. Thank you Samira for inviting me to be part of your special day!
