Project 35 | Day 131

Wind, rain and grey skies were the order of the day for the Gosport Golden Mile, which wasn’t a surprise for Dad and I as it always beams with sunshine when we’re racing.

Nonetheless the races all went ahead with the exception of the wheelchair race. Such a shame as we even had one girl come with her family from Germany for the occasion.

I took the role of Marshal to cheer everyone on and point them in the right direction which was great because I got to see the athletes through to the little kiddies who were so excited to be taking part.

My sister and aunty ran the mile together in crazy conditions but they did me proud 😊.

After a lunch, coffee and a chat I headed back to London for what would be close to a five hour journey. Thanks National Express.

That concludes another week. What will I have in store next?
