What a great day!
Claire and I started the day with breakfast down at The Dock catching up and reminiscing about our childhoods in the way that only cousins can do. Remembering the moment we sat opposite each other at a table when we must have been about 4 or 5 years old, practising our handwriting but mirroring each other because I was a righty and Claire is a lefty, and all sorts of things like that 😊.
While the sun was out we took the opportunity to take a stroll around Saltram park chattering away and narrowly missed a sharp tree cutter as we walked round a grounds men’s van – oops!
It was Mufty day at school so we picked the boys up from school in their red arrows outfits and went out for a cheeky hot chocolate and cake before heading home to take them out for a run.
Ok the run we climbed ‘the mountain’ with them which was ace. But my work was not yet done. Nope, I hadn’t been on the trampoline yet today. Instead I filmed them in slow mo!
After a delicious dinner cooked up by Claire, it was time to learn all about loom bands and how to make a loom band man. Mine was, well a little special and has an extra wobbly leg 😂. Then once the boys were in bed, Claire, Rob and I spent one last evening going through stories, photos and memories old and new before finally going to bed.
Such a lovely day #Happy Steph
