Project 35 | Day 199

My first Holi One Festival of colour! A crazy afternoon of colour powder throwing madness in Wembley Park with Sam.

It’s a traditional festival from India that has been rolled out around the world. You get coloured rice powder that everyone throws in the air creating clouds of pink, blue, yellow and orange, and everyone gets covered in the stuff!

I’m not going to lie, I did feel like Sam and I were to two mums of the event but we danced, we made friends with random strangers through the art of communication known as selfies and photo bombs, and stood in the heart of the powder cloud throughout the afternoon’s events.

I’ve never been big on the festival scene but I’m glad we went to this one, Holi One, if only to experience the magic of being a rainbow. Thanks Sam!
