It was Mental Health Awareness Week this week so this post feels quite apt.
If you’re anything like me you’ll get on the hamster wheel of life and just start running. You’ll run and smile, and run and smile and then bam! Someone stops your wheel dead in its tracks and you slam hard.
It never takes you long to pick yourself back up but the shock of that slam catches you out for just a second.
You know exactly what it will take to bounce back. You just have to dust yourself off, do a quick warm up round the room and jump back on that wheel as determined as ever to run faster than ever before.
I slammed. I got up. I got back on that wheel.
