Project 35 | Day 334

Is it possible to be jet lagged after a week of being home from your holidays? I’d like to confirm that yes, it is!

3am staring at the ceiling scenarios are normal for me at the moment. In Belize time is around 9pm so it makes sense. I’d quite like to reset now though please 🙏🏻.

My Monday morning started like a small tired plane trying to take off but once I left the Tarmac things got a lot better. A productive day at the office, a good client meeting, some long distance banter and a terrifying amount of Whatsapps with the girls – how do we have some much to talk about???

In spite of my jet lag complaints I’m still planning my next trip already with Japan, Peru and Alaska top of the list for the majors and San Fran, Switzerland and Iceland hitting the minors. The list goes on and on and on… Let’s see where 2016 takes me.

Project 35 | Day 203

Dear Universe,

There’s been something I’ve been meaning to ask you and I thought this blog post might be the best way.

I would like to order more hours in my day to do more awesome things, please and thank you. My days feel like hours, hours feel like minutes and if I had a watch i don’t think I’d have the time to check it 😂.

This isn’t a grumble or a moan. In fact I love it when life is like this. I’m like a hamster in a wheel – If I am running and running and running, I’m at my happiest 😊. It’s when I stop I feel meh. I’d just like a bigger wheel. Would that be okay?

In the meantime, I’ll be more resourceful with my time. I’ll chose to run instead of vlog if I need to – I have a half marathon in September after all;  make the most of the moments by being in them and not thinking about what’s next; and I’ll make sure the quiet days are organised and that lie-ins are a thing of the past to avoid the trap of my bed.

Excuse me now while I return to my happy place – my hamster wheel – my world! I have awesome to do!

Speak soon,

Project 35 | Day 102

We all have those lazy days, mine came with a mahoosive headache, so I spent most of the day curled up in bed.

News wise it was quite a day. The princess was born, Rio Ferdinand lost his wife to cancer, Ruth Rendall died, and so too did David Goldberg the Silicon Valley executive.

In terms of personal achievements for the day, I managed to prepare lunch, eat hot cross buns and wine gums, upload some pics to Facebook and listen to a radio documentary. Wild I tell ya!

I do feel like the universe is throwing things around a bit at the moment. Let’s hope the pieces settle in nice places.
